Blood testing
This private service is provided by our trained staff. The small venous sample (available at Alderston, Elm Row, East Calder, Nuchem and Selkirk) or capillary blood sample (all pharmacies) is sent away to our partnering lab for results, so if you are worried about any of the following health conditions - cholesterol, diabetes, thyroid, or heart we can help you to check. The lab also check vitamin levels and general health, allergy testing and many more. Prices starting from £21 up to £329.

Please make sure you are well hydrated and have had something to eat before coming to your appointment. We suggest that you drink plenty of water the day before and the day of your appointment.
As the blood test relies on sufficient blood flow to your hand, if you are able we would also suggest taking a brisk walk just before your appointment, or other physical activity within your ability that stimulates blood flow around the body.
