This is an NHS Scotland service to support patients taking long term medicines. In the first instance patients need to register with their local pharmacy and in the future their GP may issue a serial prescription for up to 12 months cutting the need to order your prescriptions routinely.

Shingles - vaccination
This is a private (paid for) service. Protect yourself against Shingles with the vaccination. This service is suitable for patients over the age of 50. There are two doses to complete the course.
Chickenpox - vaccination
The chickenpox (varicella) vaccine is a series of two shots that can protect nearly everyone from contracting chickenpox. The first should be given at the age of 12-18 months and the second shot should be given between 4-6 years of age. Older children and adults should have two shots as well, with the second shot occurring at least 28 days after the first.
Gluten free food service
The Gluten Free Food Service allows patients to self-manage their gluten free prescriptions with the assistance of their community pharmacy. Patients eligible for the service will be identified by their GP and referred to their pharmacy for care.
